April (freezing) Showers Bring May Flowers
Channeling my desire for spring so hard today
Behind the Page
I didn’t have much of a plan today, but when I woke up and ran errands this morning it was only just above freezing. Uncool for the end of April. But — spring is coming, and it will be 80 degrees here on Sunday. I’m holding out for the warmth!
So to make myself feel a little more spring, I played around this spring flower set (that’s since been discontinued) that I love.
Technique of the Day
I stamped the baskets right onto full sheet sticker paper. It makes it so much easier to stick everything down, especially when your images don’t have squared-off edges. I know that those little bits that are sticking out are going to have just as much adhesive as everything else, and I don’t need to worry about being delicate and using a different adhesive.
Reflections & Insights
Sometimes, on Thursdays — I’ll do a Thursday3 page. I skipped that this week because my Thursday3 photo and notes are going to go directly into my Week in the Life album. So, today, I just had a little bit of fun with some spring feelings.
